Committee members can be anyone wanting to help Paia Merchants Association, however the head person of each committee must be a voting member in good standing.

• GENERAL ELIGIBILITY: Each brick and mortar or mobile business in Paia is eligible for one membership. Each business can appoint one representative from their business, whether it is an owner or managing director.
• VOTING MEMBER: Voting members are eligible to attend general membership meetings, where they can vote on town issues, head committees, vote in election of PMA board members and officers, and address any issues of concern for their business and the town in general. To be a voting member, the business must be current on their dues and appoint one person to represent their business. This can change over the course of the membership.
• ASSOCIATE MEMBER:  Businesses who do not pay dues will be associate members and will not have a vote are welcomed to participate in committees and to stay informed on PMA business.
• DUES: Initial membership dues $150. Ending April 1^st of 2025.  Annual membership dues are $300, due annually but April 1^st 2025 organization.
• ANNUAL MEETINGS:  The annual meeting will be held on the first Friday of April in each year.
• LOCATION:  PMA annual meetings will be held at Paia Community Center.
• PMA MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS: By being an active participant, you will help meet the goals of our community.  There will also be additional benefits as we grow. Discounts, exposure in the community, advertising, and being a heard voice in our local government and many more things to come.

The PMA Board consists of no less than 3 and no more than 9 members. For the first year the board was comprised of volunteer members. In subsequent years they will be voted in at the annual meeting.
